The list of murder charges against an alleged serial killer continue to grow.
Bruce McArthur has been charged with an 8th count of murder in relation to the death of Kirushna Kumar Kanagaratnam, Toronto Police announced.
At a news conference this morning Homicide Detective Sergeant Hank Idsinga said the latest victim is a previously unknown male.
Idsinga said the remains were the seventh and final set found inside planters located at a home on Mallory Crescent.
Toronto Police released a picture of the unknown male last month and were later able to identify him through an international agency.
According to Idsinga, the victim was murdered sometime between December 3rd and 14th 2015 when the victim was 37.
He went on to say the victim was from Sri Lanka and may have been visiting extended family in Canada.
Bruce McArthur was originally arrested on January 18th.
Police are investigating unsolved murders that date back to 1975 which may be linked to the former landscaper.
