Huron-Bruce Tory MPP Lisa Thompson has announced that the Ford government is investing more than $5.5 million in six infrastructure projects in Huron and Bruce Counties.
Work to replace the Airport Line bridge, north of County Road 83 in Bluewater is in line for over $805 thousand, while almost $855 thousand goes toward replacement of the Kinburn Line bridge in Huron East.
Close to $535 thousand is earmarked for a new Blind Line bridge on Abraham Line in Morris-Turnberry - Replacement of Blind Line Bridge on Abraham Line.
In Bruce County, funding is going toward the long-awaited replacement of the Chepstow bridge and the McEwing bridge in Saugeen Shores.
The biggest-ticket item is reconstruction of County Road 6, which will cost over $1.5 million.
