Remembrance Day observances are being held across Huron County.
Remembrance Day observances are being held across Huron County and all over Canada today.
This marks the 99th anniversary of the end of the First World War, when the signing of the Armistice took place in France.
The allies including Canada ended the war against Germany at 11am local time on November 11th, 1918 after more than four years of fighting.
More than 700 Huron County men and women died in the two World Wars.
Remembrance Day also honours Canadians who died in the Korean conflict and in Afghanistan.
