Clinton Break-In Nets $10,000 In Valuables

Clinton | by Peter Jackson
OPP are now investigating two home break-ins on consecutive weekends in Clinton

Antiques and collectibles were the target, when thieves allegedly broke into a Clinton home.

Huron OPP say someone got into the house on King Street through the basement window in late November.

Police say commemorative coins, vintage currency, pocket watches, jewellery and jackknives worth $8,000 to $10,000 were taken.

The incident happened a week before a home on Isaac Street in Clinton was broken into, and around $3,000 of valuables were taken this past weekend.

OPP are searching for suspects in connection with both incidents.
