Blyth | by Peter Jackson
Justin Peters is one of three netminders announced Thursday by Hockey Canada

There will be a local flavour on the ice, when Canada defends its hockey gold medal at the Winter Olympics in South Korea.

Justin Peters of Blyth is one of three goaltenders signed to the Olympic team, along with former Leaf netminder Ben Scrivens.

Peters played several years in the NHL, and is now competing in Europe.

Another Huron County-born goaltender -- Matt Dalton -- is appearing in the Olympic tournament as a member of the host South Korean team.
