Locals named Olympic goaltenders

Huron County | by Peter Jackson
Blyth's Justin Peters will play for Canada, while Clinton's Matt Dalton will play for South Korea.

There will be a local flavour on the ice, when Canada defends its hockey gold medal at the Winter Olympics in South Korea.

Justin Peters of Blyth is one of three goaltenders signed to the Olympic team, along with former Leaf netminder Ben Scrivens.

Peters played several years in the NHL, and is now competing in Europe.

Another Huron County native, Matt Dalton has been named as a goaltender with the host team from South Korea.
