A Bruce county woman returns to a Goderich court September 10th in connection with a 1.2 million dollar fraud investigation.
60 year old Roswitha Wiggermann of Huron Kinloss was in court on Monday where the case was put over for a month.
She was charged June 6th following an investigation by Huron County OPP into the disappearance of large sums of money from a victims bank account.
Police say a member of the victim's family contacted them in September of last year.
After speaking with the victim, police investigators learned the accused had regularly borrowed large amounts of money by using deceit and other fraudulent means.
In addition, OPP found the accused wrote a number of cheques to the victim that bounced due to non-sufficient funds.
OPP estimate the victim lost around $1.2-million to the accused.
Wiggermann is charged with fraud over $5,000, making a forged document, uttering a forged document and making a false statement in writing.
Investigators believe there may be other victims in the local area.
