An inquest into the death of a man in Lambton County in 2010 will start in Sarnia on August 14th.
43 year-old Paul Horan had been involved in a police pursuit with Lambton OPP in September 2010.
Police say he threw various objects out of his vehicle including a pellet gun during the chase along the 402.
After OPP pulled his car over and got him into a cruiser, Horan encountered medical difficulty and became unresponsive.
He died shortly after arrival at hospital in Petrolia.
Nine days have been set aside for the inquest which is expected to hear from 15 witnesses.
The Coroner’s jury may issue recommendations following the proceeding aimed at preventing such deaths in the future.
