More details have surfaced about the death of Goderich Mayor John Grace.
OPP identified the 64 year old Mayor as the victim of a boating accident on Lake St. Joseph Wednesday, following reports a boater had gone out on the lake Tuesday morning and was 40 minutes overdue from returning.
Reports say a boat was found capsized on the lake, and the remains were found roughly seven hours later.
An official with the OPP detachment in Pickle Lake says the weather was windy Tuesday, likely creating waves five to six feet high.
