Another closure of the Seaforth Community Hospital’s Emergency Department has been announced.
The Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance says the ED will close at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 16th.
The Seaforth Hospitals’ Emergency Department will open at 7:00 a.m. Wednesday, and regular hours of operation (24/7) will resume at this time.
According to the HPHA, “increased demands on the healthcare system, exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic, are leading to staffing vacancies.”
The HPHA says anyone requiring immediate medical attention should call 9-1-1.
