The Goderich YMCA and the United Way of Perth-Huron are partnering for a free program for youth this summer.
Officials with the United Way say isolation has become a concern among young people, which prompted the program’s creation.
The Goderich Youth Collective leadership program will teach kids new skills, while discovering community resources, and meeting new people over a 16-week period.
The first launch aims to engage Goderich area youth, with later offerings expanding to youth across Huron.
The application deadline is Sunday, April 30th, 2023.
