An annual turtle release is returning to Exeter.
The Huron Stewardship Council and Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority will be holding their eighth annual Turtle Hatchling Release on Thursday.
The turtle release event includes live reptiles, family-friendly activities, educational displays, and a bake sale and merchandise for sale.
The hatchling release runs place on Thursday, August 31st, 2023 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Morrison Dam Conservation Area east of Exeter.
Proceeds from the turtle event support Ontario turtle conservation.
