A 60 year old woman has been charged, following a crash with a hydro pole in Goderich.
Huron OPP say a vehicle collided with a pole on Oxford Street, near Huron Road, and the driver failed to remain at the scene.
According to reports, the driver was found later at the Goderich hospital with minor injuries.
Breath samples were taken from the driver, who registered above the legal limit for alcohol consumption.
An Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh woman has been charged with:
- Operation while Impaired – alcohol and drugs
- Operation while Impaired – Over 80
- Dangerous Operation
- Failing to remain at the scene of a collision
The accused was released from custody with a Goderich court appearance scheduled for October 16th.
