A youth has been charged with murder, following a death investigation in Holmesville.
First responders were called Tuesday afternoon to a section of Cut Line near the Central Huron town, after reports the body of a youth was found.
The youth was later pronounced dead in hospital.
Following an investigation, OPP say a young person from Central Huron has been charged with first degree murder.
The identity of the youth is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
The investigation continues by the Huron County OPP Crime Unit under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, with assistance from OPP Forensic Identification Services and in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner.
