Hospitals continue to be focal points for measles exposures in the Huron-Perth health region.
Huron Perth Public Health confirmed another measles exposure at the Stratford Hospital on Saturday, April 19th, between 9:15 p.m. and 11:40 p.m.
This follows news of an exposure at the Listowel Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, April 16th between 6:37 a.m. and 8:42 a.m.
“Anyone who was at these locations during these timeframes needs to monitor for measles signs and symptoms for 21 days after exposure,” a news release from HPPH says.
More than a dozen exposures have now been confirmed in Huron and Perth counties throughout April, including an incident at the Wingham Hospital on April 9th.
