If you are looking for a deal at a Huron County business, there’s an app for that.
The Huron Chamber of Commerce says dozens of businesses have joined their new “Chamber Perks” app, offering discounts, bonuses, and special offers from trusted businesses throughout the county.
In a news release from the Chamber, the app was launched deliberately to coincide with Amazon’s Prime Days, offering a local-first alternative to online mega-retailers.
The goal is to keep money circulating within Huron County.
Businesses currently offering deals through Chamber Perks include Goderich Sunset Golf Course, MicroAge Basics in Wingham and Goderich, Papple Aviation, and Meeting Place Organic Farm.
