The Goderich Flyers will not be apart of the 2025-2026 Provincial Junior Hockey season.
The Flyers announced they have requested a formal leave of absence from the PJHL for the upcoming season.
A statement from from the Goderich Flyers cites player recruit as an issue, saying “being farther from schools and major urban centers than many of our divisional competitors — continues to present a significant challenge.”
However, the Flyers say their absence will not permanent.
“This is not goodbye — this is a pause, with the full intention of returning stronger.”
