A former NHLer is taking over as head coach of the Clinton Radars senior hockey club.
Merlin Malinowski moves up from an assistant coaching position to replace Jim Fritzley, who guided the Radars to the WOAA Senior AA championship in 2017-18.
Malinowski spent six seasons in the NHL, mainly with the former Colorado Rockies and Hartford Whalers.
He retired in 1983, as a member of the New Jersey Devils.
