A big donation from the The Wingham & District Hospital Foundation is helping the facility’s bottom line.
The foundation announced a $2.3 million support for the The Wingham & District Hospital’s 2024-2025 fiscal year.
“In addition to the CT scanner, donor support has enabled the purchase of: A new ultrasound machine, vital signs monitors, hematology analyzer, upgraded inpatient beds and mattresses, a crash cart for emergency response, and support for the Wingham & Area Health Professionals Recruitment Committee,” a news release says.
“Every dollar given is a gift to the entire community,” said Executive Director Nicole Duquette-Jutzi.
“Our donors are ensuring that quality care is available close to home. Supporting the Foundation helps care for every patient who walks through our doors.”
