A counter-movement to a controversial billboard near Goderich is celebrating one year in operation.
The group “No Hate In Huron” began roughly one year ago, in response to signage along Highway 21 north of Goderich reading “White Lives Matter.”
No Hate In Huron formed counter-signage posted around Goderich, reading “Love Lives Here” and “Be Kind,” weeks after the controversial sign was put up.
The group is planning a public gathering on Monday, August 4th at Goderich’s Kinsmen Centre, which will include speeches, and a peace walk to the town’s high school.
T-13 days until our big 1yr anniversary celebration Aug 4!Can’t wait to see everyone come out for a beautiful day of celebration, music, food, dance, art, peace walk, and community
